Calgary Ukrainian Festival

1. Calgary Ukrainian Festival (CUF):


As per previous emails, the following groups are performing at CUF - Veeterets, Promin, Kvitka, Veselka & Radist. As far as we know we are dancing on June 2nd (saturday) but we have not yet had a confirmation of times and/or dates.

Rehearsals for CUF will be as follows:

Thursday May 24th and Thursday May 31st at the ballet school:

7:00 to 8:00 Veeterets, Promin and Kvitka
7:30 to 8:30 or 9:00 (depending upon what is needed) Radist and Veselka
7:30 to 8:00 Hopak with everyone

Yalenka Ukrainian Dancers is located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. The students dance at the School Of Alberta Ballet located at 906 12 Ave SW.

What's Happening in Ukraine Community:

Calgary Ukrainian Festival is still in need of volunteers!!! See the email below:

We still need about 100 volunteers to ensure the success of the
festival! We really need help during the zabava on Saturday June 2
and both shifts on Sunday. Accordingly, please encourage your
membership to sign up for at least one shift during this two day
event. Online applications can be found at:
